Allowed arrival locations

Currently, you can only arrive in Cambodia with an e-visa via an international airport or one of the border crossings listed below.

Airports accepting travellers with an e-visa:

  • Phnom Penh International Airport
  • Siem Reap International Airport
  • Sihanoukville (Preah Sihanouk) International Airport

Border crossings accepting travellers with an e-visa:

  • Bavet (Svay Rieng, bij Vietnam)
  • Tropaeng Kreal (Stung Treng, bij Laos)

Entering Cambodia at a different location

If you will be arriving at a different location in Cambodia and you need to transfer at one of the permitted airports in Phnom Penh, Siem Reap or Sihanoukville, you can use an e-visa. Cruise passengers arriving at the port of Sihanoukville in Cambodia cannot use the e-visa. Instead, they must apply for a physical visa at the Cambodian Embassy in London or in Dublin.

Bear in mind that your passport must be valid for at least 6 more months on the date you arrive in Cambodia. Furthermore, your passport number must be the one you entered when applying for the e-visa. Carefully check all your data before submitting your application. Destination

The Cambodia e-visa is suitable for tourist and business travel. This includes holidays and visits to friends or family in Cambodia. However, you cannot use the e-visa for other purposes, such as studying or living in the country. Other visa types are available for these purposes.

Validity

Documents required for a Cambodian visa

After filling in the Cambodia visa application form, you will be asked to provide a scan or photograph of the information page in your passport. This is the page with your photograph and the most important personal details. You will also need to provide a passport photograph. You may take this photo yourself with your mobile phone. To ensure a good passport photo, it is best to stand in front of a white wall or a light background. Make sure the photo is in focus. Please print the Cambodia e-visa twice before travelling. Besides your passport, you must also have the printed e-visa with you at all times during your trip.
